So could you (would you) suggest a media for use in a BH for an individual who will be "experimenting with the idea" of a DIY Bakki Shower for his soon-to-be build 580 gallon QT tank? (Coming Soon!)

Something that isn't "A poor substitude" as lava rock seems to be.

Bottom line: Best bang for the buck.
