I have enjoyed the kodamas in events as well. Taro is so kept busy translating, knowledgeable and outgoing, his dad more reserved, confident
they make a good team together. Also because of their connection with the breeders, I really think that they will have an excellent knowledge of participants as having been there in their travels. The books written have really contributed to the general knowledge about some pretty specific topics in what makes a great koi. Sheesh all this talk is getting me excited about the event.
Had a nice talk with Dan Olson last night on the phone. The North idaho club is featuring Toshio Sakai in September at the PNKCA event they are hosting.
So if you have to miss the event this February with Russ and Camellia, I certainly hope you can come this fall and catch this man's koi and presentation.
I'm really grateful to see these kinds of educational events being planned.
Nothing like this was ever dreamed of when I first got started in koi. What an opportunity. certainly hope you'll be able to take advantage of as many as you can.
