| Talked to Mat Mc Cann today at Quality koi. He bred Asagi from a female that Toshio sakai had procured for them. he said he was gonna harvest the pond end of next month with the tosai's from that spawn. I found it interesting that this koi has magoi blood in it, so was looking forward to seeing what the babies turn out to be. instead of buying an older more expensive koi, I may opt to get several tosai like the japanese do and invest in a few years to see what turns out. maybe i can talk him out of a photo when the time comes. |
