I thought they did such tests in California at UC Davis.

Any pathologist worth thier salt will tell you that KHV testing is not 100%, not even close. However, much better than nothing.

Still no test to detect latency beyond a certain point. So, a latent carrier can be tested again and again and come up negative until it begins to shed virus.

The U of MN (Nick PHelps) is consulting with Dr. Goodwin as he builds his testing program so once online and available, this should be a good reliable testing alternative..
