| So, you don't think your showa is anything special. Well, I'm no judge, but I have been around the hobby for awhile and personally speaking, I think it has a lot of potential. The beni is very thick and even. The sumi that is up now on the head and back appear to be very good quality. Now, the question is, do you have the patience to wait for it to blossom in 4-5 years time? This seems to be where most hobbyists fail. They don't have the patience and when things don't appear the way they think they should within a year or two, they give up on the fish. All I can say at this point is:
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
