I have a platinum Ogon. It was purchased summer of last year at 4" and is now only 6". Yes its thicker, healthy, proportionate etc. I have heard that Gin Rin & metallic types grow more slowly.

Is this true?

Im not getting rid of it because its small... just wondering. I have a yamabuki that I purchased a month after that has grown 4" in the same time frame.
