Few more questions..

1. Momotaro koi's seems to be the rave because of their size. Is this size influence by his water quality, feeding techniques, pond volume or more because of their genes? The reason i ask this is for a hobbyist like me who is hoping to grow a koi that is big and retain its beauty, i should at least get the genes right. Now if it is true that Momotaro koi has those genes then they are my best bet. However my gut feeling is that his koi's are big because of his growing techniques. His tosai and nisai is achieving a phenomenal growth rate but i am wondering if after a few years that this growth will sort of slow down and have the same growth pattern as the rest of the breeders like Sakai. If this is true then his koi's genes are not superior to that of a Sakai for size purposes.

2. How would you compare a Momotaro and Sakai in the Go-sanke variety? This question was ask few years back and many went for Sakai, but times could have changed.

3. Why in the world is Momotaro koi so expensive? Are they really much more superior than others. In my area they are a lot more expensive than the Sakai.

Any info is much needed

thank you.
