[quote=mingaun;107590]Hello,
I am building a pond of about 6' by 9' by 4'. It will be equipped with a small mechanical filtration using a piece of Japanese Mat and the pump used is Omyu 180watt which produces about 25 tonne of water per hour. It will have a Bakki shower with about 80kg of bacteria house. I will also have 2pcs of air stone.

Is this set up adequate. Plan to keep three kois in it.

It is ok to keep 3 koi in it but not Momotaro tosai which for $1500 each are likely to grow to 80cm . You would be better with 3 Malesian koi at $50 each . Otherwise the minimum size should be 8x 12 x 6ft deep . With one bottom drain simply that a koi that grows larger needs that room for excersize . I would stop and rethink everything to make sure what you really want can be accomplished whith the pond you are planning . Visit some koi ponds a dealers holding tanks are not koi ponds .
Regards
Eugene
