| 90% of human skin cancer is caused by the sun's UV rays. Fair skin and red hair are the most susceptible. The skin of koi is far from nature's choice in protection from the environment. It would make sense to me they also would be susceptible to skin damage from UV radiation. Here is a forehead with the hikui look. |
