| New Small Pond
I just finished a new pond. It's dry stacked blocks, liner, 6 by 14 feet, 2 1/2 feet deep. a little over 1600 gal. with filtration. 4" Koi toilet 2 bottom drain reduced to 3" feeding a settling/strapping bio tank. A Evolution ES 2500 pump tales suction from that and feeds a sand/gravel filter with one of my home made Savio UV adapters, then 30+ feet of 2" line running to the unfinished waterfall.
Since this is a "For Sale" pond for Sarassas, Wakins, and small Koi, of course it will be severely over stocked, so the skimmer is only an overflow to waste as I will run a very small trickle flow through with well water. |
