I agree with a few of the posts above. Color foods will dull the whites (some actually turn yellow or pinkish) and can bring out what is already genetically there IMHO. So it's really hard to say if this was caused by color foods or not. But removing that from the diet sure won't hurt. Many feel that feeding color foods simply shouldn't be done at all to allow the fish to develop slowly and naturally which in turn, the theory goes, that the fish will remain in peak condition longer if not forced.
