I agree with both of your points. Pissing matches do the world zero good. As a former teacher I would say to students, "if you participated you are part of the problem. " I never visit other boards because of the drama. Although some of the humor cracks me up, I believe it should just be on an issue and not an individual.
Sometimes we (I) get sucked into these issues but because of the type of monitoring on this board it seems to be short lived. Good job.
