Sorry to hear that Matt-those were very nice choices from the show.
If the ph or nitrites were a big difference that could have contributed.

Its always good to aclimitize before puting in pond/by adding pond water to the QT
a bit at a time for about a week before tranfer.....
Or better yet QT with pond water the whole time.
