that is the dirty little secret of the hobby... tons of non-petsmart koi die every year....
Most hobbyists kill alot of their fish...even the "good" hobbyists.
And the hobby as a whole doesn't flinch.
these "grow-out" contests should be called "Survival" contests....to compound the loses, consider the people that "entered' the contest and never intended to be apart of it. Their loses have been much higher, yes? |
