If you learn to identify flukes, ich, trichodina, chilodonella and costia (if your scope can handle costia) you will cover most of the bases. The way the bumps erupt, I think your fish have Lymphocystis which is a virus similar to carp pox. Under the scope there will be huge enlarge cells. It is troublesome, cannot be cured with any medication, but only weakly contageous and less deadly than many of the parasites.

Grant, you multiply the magnification of the eyepiece (ocular) by the magnification of the objective lens on the rotating turret below to get the total magnification. Your objectives lenses are 4X, 10X and 40X. Your eyepiece is probably 10X but check to be sure. It will be marked on the outer edge. Therefore, your total magnification is 40x, 100X and 400X for the three objectives on the rotating turret.
