Hello Ryan . . .
Nope, they weren't for sale. They were before/after (tosai to nisei, w/ measurements) pix of a shipment of about 50 koi sent to a dealer in England last year. It was absolutely amazing to see some of those so-so ducklings turn into beautiful 50+ cm swans.
As for the heat, it was mid 90's. I know: For you, a nice Spring day. But for us it was just about unbearable.
