| Mark, I can see why your dealer would keep this kohaku in his special pond. Very nice koi indeed. I also know what you mean about "love at first site"! I have been there and done that and I have only been in the hobby for about 2 years. Because I am still new to this hobby, I don't know whether that tail split will heal completely or not as I have not had any personal experience with fin splits. I will leave that up to those a lot more "seasoned" than me to respond. I would like to say that it should heal completely, but that is just my assumption.
