Funny you posted THIS particular picture today. I was at this dealer's facility just a short while ago today and saw this fish "up close and personal". It looks VERY MUCH like the picture, so definitely NOT PHOTOSHOPPED. I've known this dealer personally for about 10 years now, from his humble backyard beginnings. He's a great friend and a very honest person. So, if y ou called him to inquire about this fish, he'd probably walk over to the tank and look at it while talking to you.
It is a female and Nisai. My suspicion is that it is from Hiroi. The GinRin is pretty good, not outstanding, but acceptable. The red is on fire. The black that is visible is spotty at best, for now. I'm afraid this will become a Kuro Goshiki and the GinRin will get overtaken by the sumi. But, all in all, this might be a fish worth getting to see how your water affects the sumi development. There are a couple other Goshiki that show some promise on his site. The 11" tosai from Ogata looks pretty good too! Good luck,
