I am really excited right now. Just came back from the pioneer valley koi show..I won my first GC!!! It was with this kujaku from Kaneko..bought from kodama last year. The picture is from last season..it is much bigger and fuller now. I really did not see it coming until I won best in size 3 with it(out of size 1-4). Then..I got butterflies, I realized it may happen. Thanks to the wonderful judges Art and Nicole Lembke...it happened!!! I am just beside myself right now!!! I also need to thank the pioneer valley club...They put on a great and fun teaching style show...Thanks again!!!

I really just wanted to humbly thank the group here at koi-bito. The koi-education from this site has been invaluable to me. It's been brutal and honest...but, I feel it has finally helped me meet one of my goals in this hobby. When I think of the koi I had 3-4yrs ago...and how far I've come because of the people here, I am overwhelmed.
I need a few special thanks....One to Dick B. He really has been a koi coach to me. Always giving me good insight and advice, I cannot thank him enough. I also want to thank JR...an indispensable person on this board. His wealth of knowledge has kept me humble and made me want to strive for more. Maybe if I study hard...one day I will know half as much as these guys!!
I also want to thank Steve Stone from Comets to koi in CT. He has been a friend and mentor for 5yrs now. Without his help, I wouldn't have known how to keep koi alive and healthy!!! The hobby needs more people like him!!!
