| This thread brings up an interesting question. What is the average price of koi? Sort of hard to fathom because the range of prices is so high. I've seen them retail for $1.49 US but have no idea where the maximum is, or even what you guys with nice fish are accustomed to paying. If a batch had:
1 fish worth $5000
10 fish worth $500
100 fish worth $50 and
1000 fish worth $5
then the average would be only $18
