Ok, sheild your eyse on these pictures. They are my mutts. The first koi I was one of the very first koi I purchased at WalMart 5 years ago. I sold it this year to my Indian friend. He says the scales look like Iraqi writing.
The second one is one from one of my yearly flock spawnings. I have sold it also.
The third one I got from Kloubecs as a tosai. It actually looked like a doisu kohaku when I got it. I was very surprized. Its now a Sansai. Keeping it for now, until I can afford to trade up later. Its got all the things I dont like, however this year when I bred it, I got a little asagi out of the mix.
The last one I like. However I saw ones like it in Japan in the "for dinner" ponds
I'll hold on to it awhile longer. Something to be said for the purity of the blue.
