Hey...I thought my ears were getting a little itchy...

Tamus,

MikeT is absolutely right...after reading almost everything under the sun on koi, I literally ran out of resources. In fact, after joining this board, I found out first hand that a majority of what I had been reading was very much OUTDATED. It was still great to read, because I got to go through the process of weeding through the old concepts and theories and THANKS TO THIS FORUM, I learned how to apply more modern concepts and developments of the hobby and mesh them into my own theories and processes...Never stop learning, never stop trying.

Like MikeT said, One of these days I'll be ready to build my tricked-out once a week maintenance pond(s)...And thanks to this forum...I will do it right! Big MAHALO for that one.

More importantly, the expertise on this board, IMHO far exceeds any other board that I have been on...(Yes guys...I do go to other boards) With all this first hand advice and at least 500 years experience(all put together) How could you possibly go wrong.

Hey guys...my apps are in...just waiting for a thumbs up or thumbs down. In any case, its a win-win situation.....I either go to live in Japan for five years or I get to build my first kick-@$$ koi pond.
