| A few months ago I spent the day with breeder from Niigata. The question of pricing was brought up as if they would be inflated or not. He had said that the prices will remain the same and said for the reason of long term business goals not short term. In other words the breeders look to make money long term not short term as many of us are accustomed to.
Also remember that as the yen becomes stronger the prices of koi also rise so you always have to keep this in mind.
