I guess my welcoming party is not over yet because as of this morning, Typhoon Bayan is now approximately 7-8 hours away from hitting our little Kanagawa area. Already business establishments and shop keepers are locking down their places in preparation for the Typhoon. The rains and winds have started this morning and I expect it to pick up speed during the late evening hours. Batten down the hatches. I guess it will be an early night if the power goes out. I wish I had my old issues of Koi-Bito with me to read by flashlight. Hahaha.
Started driving a friends car around yesterday...keep left, keep left, keep left...its actually not that bad. Just have to remember to look right first, before proceeding: VERY IMPORTANT!
The other thing is the turn signals, how many times do you think I flipped the wind shield wiper blades on in instead of the turn signal? Gets kind of embarrassing,
especially if it wasn't raining yet. Hahaha.
