Well, Dick, you're making me feel bad ... I'll be missing our local club's holiday meeting for the second year in a row. Gotta work to pay for the hobby!
... One of our members who has a very nice collection of quality koi has volunteered to repeat as the host. There will be a pig roast, lots of exotic and not too exotic foods, and much good cheer ... all with three wonderful ponds in different styles. Attendees can examine just about all the heavily-hyped types of filtration systems and see the results before their eyes. It is a very generous thing this member does and all who have not visited before are awestruck.
We get a bit heated on the boards at times. But, face-to-face, there is no more comfortable a group of people to hang around than koikeepers... including the watergardeners among us. Maybe next year I'll not miss the festivities.
