I'm planning to buy a UV for my 2,500 gallon koi pond sometime before next spring. Can anyone please give me any recommendations regarding Wattage (9, 18, 36 or more watts) and required flow rate. I'm thinking of using a dedicated submersible pump to send water through the UV then back to the pond via a homemade venturi. Also, what exactly is the difference between a UV sterilizer and a UV clarifier? Sorry to ask, but I'm still learning...
