It would lead one to assume that the O2 purifier injects at a point far enough upstream of the kalness biofilter that he O2 is completely dissolved in the water. Judging by the sensors and controls it would appear that once they have achieved the precise O2 content they desire, they don't want to add more with an air disk so they rely on mechanical agitation instead. Seems a bit of a waste to me, but then again the entire system is pretty much over the top
