Woefully unqualified to give expert opinions on showa, but if yours and Nancy's are representative of Ogata (as they appear to be from what I've seen here and elsewhere) then I'm hooked. As a Nissai yours looks strong with a great deal of submerged Sumi yet to be fully appreciated. This is one I really look forward to seeing in the future not only for appreciation but education on showa development as well. I have a preference for the old style vs. most kindai so the bold Sumi really works for me
