I haven't visited Koi-Bito for a week now, and just read some of the going's on. I don't know what happened on the 'sand' thread, but read reference to it on 'destroying Koi-Bito.' This has always been one of the 'serious' boards, without the crap that some of the others attract It's such a shame that lately this seems to not be the case. It wouldn't surprise me if Brian were to pull the plug one of these days, and then what will you have left?
It's simple, everyone. If someone posts something to get a reaction and you don't reply, they will stop. If someone insults you and you don't take the bait, again...they will stop. To turn a board like Bito into a pissing match, well, again...such a shame. Brian had to finally resort to moderation, and even that seems to not matter to some of you. It's become a game now for some to see how far they can go before they get shut down.
Anyway, as I've said before, Newt's is open for the 'off-topic, no-holds-barred' side of the hobby, and you are all welcome to take it there. Valarc and some others seem afraid of going there where they will not have the 'protection' of heavy moderation, but they continue to take shots at people and push the envelope here. And Joe...they miss you over there, seriously. Get on back.
Let's see if you all can respect Brian and JNorth and leave Koi-Bito in peace.
