I am sitting here with a full scale blush going on. Arthur is so kewl. He told me about bottom drains and rinsing the ick out of old filters onto your new filters.

I was like, yeah Arthur...... but darn he was so right. I have lovely water due to his influence. We spent a lovely afternoon looking at fish. I was so depressed when I got there and quite happy when I left. (with of course three more fish...) Hey they were on sale and only a four degree difference between his tank and my tosai tank.

My son and I had a great time with the Birdman. I can only talk fish for so long though and really enjoyed his wife's crocheting. I crochet on airplanes. Birdwife and I want to go to some national park. We plan to ask too many questions and see if we can get arrested. Why not?? Birdy will bail us out. He had two winning birds.
I wasn't aware that so many people knew me.

Dick, how did you know the Lizardbreath story?? I still really enjoy the name. My daughter's name is Rebecca. We call her Becca. She said when she was very young, "call me Becky and I'll hand you a body part." The two missing front teeth made it especially endearing.

Rod McConkey sold me the first two big lovely fish I ever had. When he bagged them for me I got tears in my eyes. I cried the whole way home I was so happy. I still am really happy with them.

So now you have my story sort of. I love koi. I love growing them out from little tiny koi. If I could find a way to do it, I would have my koi sit on my lap when I watch TV like my lab Puckie does.
