| Regarding magoi in amongst the asagi fry. I have never seen any in my spawning or anyone elses that breed asagi to asagi. Most color varieties have been bred long enough now that the genes are pretty true. Believe it or not Toshio has bred magoi to Asagi and my big female is from that breediing. I'm sure it wasn't until the 5th generation that the asagi bloodline began to run true again. I have a male coming from Mat at quality koi this may and will some day breed the pair and see what happens...will let you know.
