Do Not Use Romex!!!

I am a general contractor and am familiar with a lot of the building codes, which includes electrical. If you are running conduit outside to take wiring from your house to your pond you absolutely can not use Romex. Romex in conduit will heat up and break down over time, causing more problems. It is not allowed in any electrical code. In conduit you need to pull the right size THHN wire. You might also want to make it a dedicated circuit.
