Here in some parts of our country they are considered pests a they can overwhelm the local fish population. Also the nets can get destroyed by being snagged with them. There is a city here that is actually paying people by the pound to get them out of the river
I do have two huge red pleco and those things just dont die here
hahaha you can leave them in 2 inches of water overnight and theyll still be swimming the next day
