yes, I imagine it would be like a reverse kohaku as you describe. Is it a one-off? The judges were quite direct in saying it was one of the emerging types.

Because right now I can not think of a variety that would give the genetics to produce this reverse kohaku pattern and be stable. The closest thing I can think of would be something out of an Asagi spawn. Occassionally I have seen Asagi with no Ai - and these are usually culls. To breed something like that would require alot of dedication and alot of failure.
