3 years ago (newbe) I wanted one, it got to be my fav, but Mark B. (the only dealer I knew at the time) couldn't get then. (only Gin Rin, Never liked shinny scales) So, but, because I could'nt wait, I got one.....(see photo)
She's growing nicely and I don't think the fish knows I don't like her, but out of 3 ponds she's the only fish, that consistantly has a broken fin, a torn pectoral (often infected at the base) Happened in shipping and happens to be that way now again, a torn infected doral fin, (from varied Bird attacks,) got into a fight with a racoon, (really, it's not me, all other fish never have problems.) The only good thing is she's allowed me to practice giving 3 different antibiotics. (at different times)
