| Thank-you Stacey for posting all those pictures. We should work on stacey to tell us about his new pond he built and what he's done to it to keep it heated. Quite an interesting story and a lot could be learned by KB readers.... By the way I'm off to the home of the GC from the seattle show the first weekend in october to speak to a study group from the spokane club about a group of toshio sakai tosai aquired this spring to document growth and change. One of the 7 is a true tategoi (showa) and will be a rare treat for those members to actually see these fish to compare what they looked like this spring and how they changed by this fall. You can see pictures and hear discriptions but until you actually get a chance to see a true tategoi in the flesh your learning curve goes up remarkably.... Dan,Sharon and i have been asked to document our findings and perhaps have them published as a learning tool....but more on that at a later time which may also include some special fish from nisei koi farm in the study....that's the beauty of this hobby, the more you know, the more you realize you have yet to learn!!!!!!! |
