When we talk about Matsunosuke we talk about the "New Matsunosuke" bloodline that the brothers have developed using the Magoi bloodline many years ago. In the past years, many other breeders are now using the "New Matsunosuke" or Magoi Bloodline to improve their Sanke stocks..i.e. Momotaro and many other breeders in Niigata.

There is a breeder now making his own Magoi(white magoi) line Sanke..I think you have read Mr. Ray Jordan mention the breeder Koi no Yohei.
So is it bad to refer him as matsunosuke?
What is wrong with toshiyuki sakai, cancer or something?

Koi no yohei? that means "Koi's Holdover", or like "Kois evil", What does it really mean. I can only translate Litterally, it could have another meaning.

What is the biggest variety of Common Carp, as in...Is there anything bigger than magoi? I get the impression that toshio sakai somewhat gets the popularity over toshiyuki.
Does toshio have a son to inherit the farm? I view toshio sakai as one of the most knowledgeable persons in koi. Yeah sure there may be others, but the sakai brothers are really changing the world.
