I've gotten boxes of tosai from Japan that were in transit for 32 hours, partially because they couldn't be released until AM so sat overnight in the warehouse. I rebagged them and then drove them another six hours home. Yes, it was worrisome. No there were no deaths and no problems.
They were packed a little light I think- 45, 13-15cm per box. Is that light Russell?
