Best wishes and safe travels to all attending this year All Japan Combined Nishikigoi show in Tokyo this weekend. Martha & I went last year and had a ball.

I have started researching for photos and data on both the AJS ZNA and also the AJS Shinkokai Grand Champions. I have about 95% of this data now for AJS ZNA grand champions. I am finding lots of conflicting data with different koi photos for the sme year for both shows. I was able to get a list from ZNA Japan with photos to resolve the issues with that show. However need some assistance with the Shinkokai show. I think the problems lie in some old magazine articles showing a photo of a koi identifying it as Shinkoikai show GC of XX annual show. Since they call the best in variety awards also Grand Champion "Sanke" it does get confusing.

Anyway I have a request for anyone going to the SHinkokai show this weekend. The Grand Champion photos of all the show winners are posted in groups of 3-4 around the hall. If you could please take photos of the various groups of previous Grand Champion photos I can compare them to my information and eliminate the incorrect photos and data from my file. Another option is if they sell any type of book or calendar with all the previous GC koi I would gladly repay you for picking up one for me at the event.

Kicking myself as I was there last year and could have done this for myself if I had only thought about it.
