fishing for carp is quite the hobby for those skillful enough to be profishent at it in the UK. I have a book written here in america about some folks who fly fish for them. In the UK I know there are many secret additives in the doughball bait including hemp....My best experience fly fishing for them was to tie a floating fly that looked like a mulberry and fish it under a tree dropping fruit. Like hitching your fly line to the bumber of a car....LOL..about the 5th carp you hook and land your wrists are too weak to grasp the rod anymore.....
If you take a look at what the japanese use as magoi blood and the type of german carp this is.....it's not the same...LOL...
