This is an English style show open to koi hobbyists. Club affiliation is required. All fish shown must be
the personal and private property of the registrant. This is a ZNA rules show and therefore is not open to
Koi Professionals. For the purposes of this show, the ZNA definition of Koi Professional is; "one who
derives income from a Koi hobby related business". Examples would be as follows:
a. Koi retailer or wholesaler (dealer), immediate relative of a Koi dealer or employee of a Koi dealer
b. Dry goods retailer/wholesaler - sells Koi food, pond filtration supplies, is a pond installer, pond
maintenance, etc. In general, provides direct hobby related items or services affecting the life of
Koi.
c. Examples of those exempt/not falling into the categories of a. / b. are businesses like; Koi
pins/design, Koi related jewelry or home decorations such as art or ceramics and other things of
a like nature. Any questions as to whether an entrant might fall into a particular category above,
should be addressed to the Koi Show Director/Co-Chairs.
d. An entrant must not have qualified as a Koi Professional for a period of one year prior to the
show. |

This was from Don Chandler on other forum where I asked about showing:
Ok so I don't import Koi or sell Koi am just dry goods only/designing/counsultation/Installation........does this then mean I can enter your show? Based on this answer and what you have in your rules?
It seems tha ZNA rules state no dealers (Wet/Dry) anyone profiting from the business or employee's. So need to have a clear answer on this. I have a personal collection and have have had it for years, but have always been turned down because of my biz am in. I can't show at my own show S.D. so have not even tried .............so if someone could answer this I would thank you.
