| oh sorry, i notice you say the other pond is about the same gallon capacity ... my thinking would be that the more surface area may mean for more natural food organisms, so it may depend more on the stocking rate of that new pond.
seeing as youve got others in there doing better, its likley behaviour and genetic which might be harder to improve upon. you may have to mother this fish to catch up while you could give the other fish that new condition and watch them stack on the size. |
