Just think if every show made this a requirement, it would force dealers to test their fish routinely. We feel this would go a long way toward ending this virus. Granted the testing is still in its infancy, but it's all we've got right now so let's work with it until something better comes along. Just think of the ribble effect as well. If dealers that want to sell fish at shows and work toward name recognition at any show, how much pressure would that put on the research AND DONATIONS to solve this issue? Now isn't that something to think about?
The test is cheap and easy - why not?
...AND if a dealer is really thinking of the health of the fish and customer satisfaction, there is time to get it done as well. Fish should be rested and go through Q before sale. More than enough time to submit samples and get results!!
