Purchased 5 koi, including this showa, last Feb from Eastern Nishikigoi; was QT'd at the dealers until the SoCal Show in March; was then QT'd and heat cycled here. Will be moved into the pond this week.
Finally got around to taking photos and measurements. Please feel free to critique.

In one of the threads a couple of weeks ago:
Omosako Shiro Utsuri - Pick one Super Kindai (Junichi Kayano) posted some pics of a stunning Takeda Showa from Nisai to Gosai, and I was struck by its resemblance to ours -- so here's a side-by-side, too. Ours is on the right.
Only hope ours develops as well as that one has.
