For those that don't know......
Sensuke ( pronounced Sens-kay ) is a bloodline of kohaku that was known for it's large size, and solid stomach area as opposed to soft heavy female looking types from other bloodlines. It was criticised initially because the beni was very orange. Most modern day breeders have worked on it to maintain the body but redden the color. A prime example would be Sakai of hiroshima. There are a few hard core types that keep the bloodline untainted.
An example would be Iizuka (Ee-zoo-kaa ).
Matsunosuke ( Mots-sun-nos-kay) a bloodline mostly associated with Sanke.
Also known for it's large size and now with magoi bloodline, even larger. Best associated with toshio sakai-Isawa, who has now developed Maruzome (rounded scale red and black ) to his gosanke lines.
So when you look at this breeder, you can tell from the genetics he uses that his koi have the ability to grow big. Many modern day breeders use these bloodline to improve their own, including Momotaro and Sakai-hiroshima
