A word of advice: This is not a board on which to post stupid and learn by being corrected. Having done that several thousand times on two other boards, you don't want to repeat your mistakes here, too.
So
please:
* don't use the empty-vessel, fill-me-up method of learning; this is a self-serve board; fill yourself up
* spend your time studying, not talking
* study the best books in the hobby; you've seen the list
* subscribe to KOI USA magazine; read it
* spend hours each day reading Koi-Bito's posts; go back a year or two
* start a file; c&p the learning posts; organize them by topic for future reference; review them periodically
* then and only then should you occasionally ask the intelligent question or two
* keep your 13 year old opinions to yourself
* and finally, if you don't care enough to compose an intelligent, articulate post then we won't care enough to give you an intelligent, articulate answer
