When the leading ray of the pectoral fin has been cut/trimmed it's a minor demerit.
When the tip of the pectoral fin is pointed, rather than rounded (it's called a 'streamer') it's a minor demerit -- but it can be fixed through minor cosmetic surgery.
Using surgical scissors trim it to the proper curve, then cauterize it immediately with 7% iodine. In good water, the surgery will be unnoticeable within 1 week.
