[quote=MikeM;83589]How old?
The Sumi is nice. I'm not sure about the Hi. The head has none of the yellow tone I would expect, which makes me wonder about the age. The way in which the Sumi has emerged along the base of the dorsal is reminiscent of Showa... and the Sumi lurking on the head contributes to the effect. The tejima is about perfect for adding presence. A bright, cheerful koi.

I like your observations and especially the way you can explain . The only thing that bothers me is the third generation . I had some really good koi ten years ago but due the great advances in the last ten years I sold them all off and started again . Fish which I purchased now for $2000 would have been Japanese chamions 10 years ago or so I think .
