Thanks for your advice. My DIY pond project will not be as big as yours. But because of budget constraints and as you put it,
"There's nothing more satisfying than seeing something that you did yourself come to fruition" I will be doing the work by myself.
I was wondering how long you were in the planning stages before you broke ground?
Luckily I am not against any time line. But, because of the type of work I do the fall tends to be a very busy time of the year.
I like the concept of being prepared and not rushing into this blindly. After all the reason I would like to have a Koi pond is because of the living art in the pond itself. Living being the important word. That is something I don't want to take on half heartedly.
