| Salts 0.3% Good or Bad at all time in Pond??
Salts does wonders to Koi, but is it good to always have a salt level of at least 0.3% in ponds, I noticed the algae along the side of the pond lining stop growing or die off and not sure how this level of salt will affect the filtration system, a couple of people i talk to said does not affect the bacteria flora in the filtration, but i doubt this, not sure what majority of members think about maintaining a salt level in their ponds and at what level is a good level at all time, or none at all and only good for salt bath in quarantine tank. |
